Senior Year

Senior year is the action and transition year. Students are completing college/vocational school applications, meeting with recruiters, taking entrance exams and working on job applications for a successful transition to their chosen post-secondary option.
Student enroll in College Before College courses and seek valuable career experiences.
In August and October, seniors take the SAT test.
In September, students and families are invited to attend the College Application Info Night.
In October, a College Financial Aid Night is offered.
In November and March, students lead their Student Led Conferences and continue to maintain a vibrant E Portfolio.
All seniors take Senior Seminar where they develop a capstone project throughout the year.
Students are invited to attend admission representative visits at HSC during the fall.
From October-December, NHPS participates in the National College Application Campaign during which time students submit college applications.
Students search for scholarships and submit applications.
Students complete Student Success Plan tasks through Naviance and their E Portfolio in Advisory throughout the year.
