HSC students are leaders in their own learning, and one way they demonstrate their leadership skills is through Student-Led Conferences (SLCs). SLCs allow for students to take ownership of their learning in ways that traditional teacher conferences do not. See the New Haven Register write up for HSC SLCs here. Students speak about each class together with both family and staff to address their own strengths, concerns, and habits of work. Students identify and discuss strategies that worked, strategies that didn't work and what changes need to be made as our students are continually moving to higher levels of greatness.
SLCs happen twice per year: once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Please check back for updates on upcoming SLC dates and information.
